HALLOWEEN WEATHER: It’s shaping up to be a comfortable but muggy afternoon across North Mississippi, with temperatures climbing into the 70s. Mild conditions should make for a pleasant day to enjoy outdoor activities and prepare for trick-or-treating. However, don’t put those umbrellas away yet. Rain chances will increase later tonight. Keep an eye on the forecast if you have evening festivities planned.

LOOKING AHEAD: With the rainy weekend we are having, the unsettled weather pattern won’t necessarily end. Additional rain chances will occur Tuesday and Wednesday as showers and thunderstorms could develop across North Mississippi. If you have outdoor plans early next week, keep those rain chances in mind as the forecast evolves.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS: Don’t forget to turn those clocks back! Daylight saving time officially ends Sunday, November 1, at 2:00 a.m. That means clocks will roll back one hour, giving everyone an extra hour of sleep. If you have clocks that don’t automatically adjust, be sure to set them back before heading to bed Saturday night.
