Coroner releases name of Verona shooting victim

VERONA, Miss. (WTVA) — A shooting in Lee County killed a man on Wednesday afternoon.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green later identified the shooting victim as 29-year-old Timothy Price II.
The victim later died at the Tupelo hospital. Green ordered an autopsy.
The shooting happened at the Super C Store on Raymond Avenue in Verona, Verona Police Chief Marsenio Nunn said.
Police identified a person of interest in the case; however, it’s unclear if officers took someone into custody.
