Woman killed in Walker County, Ala. crash

WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WTVA) – A 37-year-old woman was killed in a Walker County, Ala. crash on Monday.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reports that Elaine Lindstrom, of Birmingham, Ala., was killed when her car left the roadway and entered a river.

The ALEA said she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

The crash was near the 74-mile mark on Interstate 22, about three miles from Cordova, Ala.

No other vehicles were involved.
