The Mississippi Department of Transportation says southbound Interstate 55 has reopened south of Batesville after a crash involving an 18-wheeler shut down both lanes.

PANOLA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) — An overturned 18-wheeler has shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 55 south of Batesville.
The accident is just north of the Hentz Road exit.
Drivers are advised to exit off of the interstate in Batesville and get back on the internet at Hentz Road.
