TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Voters on Tuesday elected a new county supervisor, a new school board member and a new state senator while giving a coroner's job to the person holding it on an interim basis.
Real estate broker Wesley Webb defeated businessman Buddy Dickerson in the special election runoff for Lee County District 3 supervisor.
Cassandra Palmer was an overwhelming winner over Ronnie Tucker for one of the two county seats on the Starkville Oktibbeha school board.
Chickasaw County interim coroner Larry Harris won the job in the special election runoff against former coroner Andy Harmon.
And the state Senate District 32 runoff went to Macon attorney Rod Hickman who had no problem defeating Meridian optometrist Minh Duong.
