Woman killed in north Tupelo crash Wednesday evening

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - A woman died in a crash Wednesday evening in northern Tupelo.

According to the Tupelo Police Department, the crash happened shortly before 6:00 on Barnes Crossing Road.

Two vehicles collided: a car and a semi-truck hauling cotton.

The woman driving the car died in the crash

The Lee County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the victim’s name soon.
