Brandon football player died Monday

BRANDON, Miss. (WTVA) - A Brandon High School football player died on Monday, Aug. 1, WLBT-TV in Jackson reported.

The player has been identified as Phillip Laster Jr., 17.

Rankin County Coroner David Ruth said no injuries were detected.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office will rule on the cause of death.
