getting hundreds of lee county school district students to and from school just got a little greener... lee county schools are among twelve school districts across the state to receive an environmental grant to assist in the purchase of new buses... the mississippi department of environmental quality handed out a total of three hundred thousand dollars to help put new diesel-powered buses with tougher pollution controls on the road,,,, and replace older buses.... "i already gotten six buses and im getting four more and we are getting one special ed bus but this will help us get our oldest buses off the routes we have very long routes in our county and this will be a big help for us." the lee county school district received nearly sixty thousand dollars through the grant program. the district has ten new buses on the road this year,,,,,, they're now part of the 129 bus routes across
