clean up is still going on at the tennesee tombigbee water way after an oil spill happened on sunday... wtva's evan hensley is there and joins us live with the latest i just spoke with lieutenant schneider with the coast guard who told me that clean up is still going on... he says a total of 8 state and federal agencies are out here in tishomingo county working to clean up the spill... schneider says that over 75 workers are out her working to remove the crude out from the lock... he says that the leaking barge has been contained with no pollution at the james whitten lock and dam... this all started when the leak was noticed on sunday morning... since... workers have been skimming the crude oil to clean it up.. the coast guard announced that the damaged barge carrying the the oil is owned by savage inland marine a company that does a lot of inland transportation in the continental united states... we are still working to learn more about how long this could take... reporting live in tishomingo county eh wtva 9 news new developments out
