to police chief michael ramey a small child died in a hot vehicle. i asked some people in the community and a person who says they work with one of the parents of the child says the there is a possibility the baby was in the hot car all day. "devastating i don't know what i'd do i've got five grand girls and it would just devastate me i don't know why or what happened, but it would devastate me. people in the booneville community are shaken up after baby died in a hot car today. according to the chief of police the baby's body was discovered at the field of dreams day care. "maybe they will have comfort in the lord knowing they have a here after to look forward to see that baby again." a friend of one of the parents who did not want to go on camera tells wtva the parent did not realize that the baby never made it to daycare until they went to the day care to pick the child up. "i have my grand babies in the car with me a lot when it's hot and just seeing them in the rear view mirror knowing that they're with me i just don't understand how you can forget." people in the community offer a word of advice to parents of small children. "if you put a child in your car keep it in your mind i've got a child in my car and don't forget, don't forget, just don't forget." according to booneville police the case is still under investigation at this time. i spoke with some of the people who work at the day care they say they do not want to make a comment until the investigation is complete.
