i'm craig ford. emily leonard is working behind the scenes. hundreds of motorcyclists from the south are participating in the 2019 rally dinner ride. wtvas nicole dantzler is live at their first stop in starkville, where she tells us what this event is all about.. right now the motorcyclists are well on their way to the finish line.. but before the bike rally began i had the chance to catch up with some participants and vendors about their experience.. ." "it's jusy getting together with old friends and bikes." its the 20th annual rally dinner ride in sturgis. and motorcyclists from all over the south lined up there bikes to participate in the event. the motorcyclists ride from sturgis to starkville to louisville and to ackerman. dennis and penny clanton said they've participated in this event for nineteen years. to them, the best part is the wind blowing in their faces. ((sot)) "when you rode through its people lined up on the streets hollering and waving. and they got their flags, american flags. it's kind of like a parade. just really cool, it gives you chills when you ride." dennis clanton-kosciusko resident 0:23-0:29 penny clanton- kosciusko resident 0:31-0:35 funnel cake, lemonade and pork vendors came out to support the rally, as well as a motorcycle industry that aims to bring the gospel to riders..
