"we're just so proud of this program because 100% of it was donated." "it's a wonderful way to promote health in our town. in fact, when we got here awhile ago there were several people who got bicycles." representing state farm insurance, pam brown, along with representatives from renasant bank and walmart donated each bike available for rent through this program. meanwhile, the mississippi department of rehabilitation services donated helmets. standup: and the best part is it doesn't cost you a thing. all you need is a library card and you're good to go. "we wanted it to be free, because we want our library to offer free services to everyone. it includes the whole area. everyone can come check out a bike. there are no limitations." and recently city leaders donated two-thousand dollars to the library so that they can add on to this program. "we have lots of children and adults and families in the area who don't have bicycles. they don't have storage or money to purchase those kinds of things so it's a great opportunity for them to come to the library." "there's a future plan to build a facility right here on sight to house the bicycles...a place to keep them if they need repairs." this is just one program the library will have started in the state. right now, bullock and library board members are in the process of having internet hotspots available for rent as well...also free of charge. a program that would benefit students who are given ipads by the new albany school district . "not all of our children have internet at home, so this will be a way that they can still work at home and have internet service." this
