say...erin? im here at the salvation army where people continue to gather to get meals prepared by churches and other organization to make sure they don't miss a meal. all saints episcopal church and the tupelo- lee county hunger coalition handed out sandwiches water and fruit to those in need. due to the salvation army's kitchen undergoing renovations they are not able to serve the daily 200 meals as usual. local organizations stepped in to make sure those in need have a chance for at least two meals a day. people effected tell me they are glad they did. "it's very very very important because it is a shortage of funding and financing in which we wouldn't eat lunch if it wasn't for these people." hannah maherry from the hunger coalition here in tueplo tells wtva this will last for the rest of july and possible through august. multiple organizations in north
