craig, the salvation army serves about 200 meals a day to those in need however for the rest of the month the kitchen will be closed for repair. today the hunger coalition and other organizations donated to help fill that void. members of the hunger coalition prepared sandwiches to serve to those in need starting tomorrow. according to the members of the hunger coalition the goal is to serve 2 meals to the people in the community who are in need including single parent homes, the elderly, or disabled, anyone that suffers from food insecurities. however, hunger coalition board member hannah maherrey tells me this wouldn't be possible without the help of other organizations. effort ."
