more on how this all got started. craig it started when a man and his girlfriend got into an argument... the girl ran off to this home... as you can see he was not happy to see she ran off. take a closer look ... this home is a total loss after someone burned it down. this is 57 year old richard ellis hacker. deputies arrested him on june 18th. (charges?) monroe county sheriff cecil cantrell tells me the home owner originally called deputies when hacker came looking for his girlfriend . i spoke with the man who owns this home and he tells me the girlfriend ran here to get away from hacker. he says someone then set his house on fire. "the reason we know that is because he was down in becker bottom and he told these people that he needed to get away from down there because he had burned this mans house down... i guess he just wanted to do some revenge and he did he burned his house down." the state fire marshals are currently investigating. the man who lives here tells me he now has to live out of his truck and has nothing. and hacker remains in jail on a 20 thousand dollar bond. live in monroe county taylor smith wtva nine news at , w-t-v-a
