its way to having a brand new courthouse built after a fire destroyed it years ago. wtvas nicole dantzler is live with an update on when the courthouse will be completed. j-h and h architects is building a new courthouse at the intersection of highway nine and highway fifty in eupora. architect adam haver says jh and h began working with the county supervisors on this project in 2014 soon after the old courthouse burned in a fire. the two story courthouse will house two courtrooms, a tax office, chancery and circuit clerk offices, a board of supervisors room and a purchasing office. i spoke with haver on facetime and he says they built the new courthouse in a new location because the old one could not be salvaged after the fire.
