and now has police searching for the shooter. it happened at a busy city park in starkville. police hope a reward for information will encourage someone who was in that 'packed park' to speak up. wtvas nicole dantzler joins us live at mckee park where officers say the gunfire appears to be the result of an argument. l investigators continue to search for the shooter at mckee park on monday evening. police say the suspect's vehicle is a blue nissan altima the starkville police department now offers a 1,000 reward for information leading up to an arrest.. officers responded to the shooting at mckee park around six p-m. our news partner starkville daily news reports eyewitnesses saw two people argue during a basketball game. one man went to his car, went back and fired shots at the victim. they report the victim went to the oktibbeha county hospital where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. starkville mayor lynn spruill says this shooting caused great concern for city leaders and citizens.
