first, a man remains behind bars this evening after pleading not guilty to a triple homicide. wtva's nicole dantzler joins us live to tell us more about the investigation and what happens next.. the judge denied clark allen junior bond this morning after he was indicted on three counts of capital murder. allen was arrested and charged back in january with the murders of three people. he is accused of shooting demario snell, mauricio nance and tyshun fields in artesia at a mobile home. lowndes county investigators say allen was a guest inside the home at the time of their deaths on january fifteenth. there was no bond set after police took allen into custody for a capital murder charge but a 5,000 bond was set for the conspiring to commit a crime with the sale of a controlled substance. "he was given a temporary court date and a temporary motion deadline but the reality is the next steps is to focus on whether he needs a mental evaluation because this is a death penalty eligible case. once the defendant decides if he wants the mental evaluation or not we'll decide the next steps for the case." colom says a tentative date is set for august. but for now allen remains in custody at the lowndes county jail. live in nicole dantzler wtva nine news
