"i can't bend...i can't walk hardly, and just knowing they're here is a big load off my mind." - george barkley it offers help to seniors like him who may not be able to do simple tasks that you make take for granted. stand up next age is comprised of four parts...handyman, housekeeping, meals on wheels, and a call center... george barkley is a regular user of the handyman and housekeeping services and says he appreciates the service... whenever needed, mister barkley can get someone to come into his home and change an air filter or a light bulb... next age executive director kimberly easterling says this service is helpful for the nearly 12 thousand people in lee county who are at least 62 years old. "many of those individuals have family members that are not close by...they live far away and they need someone they can trust, that they can reach out to for a variety of issues... - kimberly easterling jessica waddlington with next age tells us tupelo was the perfect starting place for this program. "traceway was our very first retirement community at methodist senior services so we wanted to start here because it's well known here in town. we wanted to build it here because most of our people are housed here.
