starkville police department assisted the u-s- marshals with a warrant for a murder suspect out of indiana. the man was captured in an apartment yesterday afternoon. wtva's evan hensley spoke with a neighbor who saw the action and he joins us live with what he's learned. this is a quiet little neighbor on ware street which is directly behind the oktibbiha county sheriffs office... but one neighbor said that it broke out in confusion when law enforcement arrived to pick up the suspect... ." neighbor "about 6 or 7 of them all with assault rifles. the street was blocked off with unmarked cars. and then i saw them take aman out of the house and load him up" the men were u-s marshalls and the man they brought out has been identified as james dodson jr. dodson is wanted in the shooting death of michael lovett jr. that homicide happened in fort wayne, indiana in april the neighbor who did not want to go on camera says that this is the kind of place where everyone keeps to themselves... "especially on this street here, we don't have that kind of thing going on around here. but this is america, people commit crimes and flee to other states all the time." he said that this is the home where marshals and the starkville police department dodson... "i noticed him one time, i didn't even know who he was. i thought he was just a guy passing through the neigborhood. and i didn't realize he lived on the street until after they loaded him up, it was pretty quite."
