us how they're providing some relief to the community. here at christian chapel church of christ...they are offering hot meals, cold drinks, and a place to rest for folks who are spending their day helping out. bite"it's sad but at the same time its really brought a lot of people together.addy cobb is a hamilton native who saw some of massive damage this weekend. many people in the hamilton area were left with almost nothing after the tornado that ripped through monroe county on saturday. sot its shown how close our community is and im just really thankful or the people we have because without the everyone coming together it would be even harder for these people that have lost so much." at the hamilton church of christ on hamilton road, any one out working on storm clean up is welcome to come enjoy a break. (bite) local businesses have donated to churches throughout the area. these churches have combined forces and spent their day making sure everyone has a full stomach during this tragic time. bite noah wren the disaster relief coordinator for christian chapel church is out here and he says he is glad to have the chance to be out here and help out. sot " anyone. just pull up and eat. most everyone has been working all day and all night. most these people has been up all night long working and im just glad we can give them a short break, something cold to drink and a belly full of food." the church will continue to take donations for the people of hamilton and wren says they will be out here serving food throughout the evening. reporting live in monroe county, amanda haley wtva 9 news. and you can help those
