there's the early signing period in december, and the regular signing day that we're used to here in february. we're doing things a little different this time. we're showcasing different signees on different shows, and we're posting them to class 4a state champion louisville high school had fourteen players sign with schools today, but the big story here is defensive tackle charles moore. he recently de-committed from mississippi state, and this morning, moore signed with auburn. moore was also recruited by lsu, ole miss, florida, and florida state. afterward, moore said gus malzahn, or "coach g" as he calls him, is one of the reasons he chose auburn. "like lsu is kind of a little too flamboyant lifestyle for me. like with coach g, i feel like he could be something like a father figure to me like my dad is and they're going to be stern, tough love. i feel like it'sa place that i can excel." the west pointgreen wavehad 12 players sign this morning. two of them are headed to division one. linebacker brent cunningham and defensive back ryan melton will play for the university of south alabama. both players have helped west point win three consecutive class 5a state championships. ryan melton (db-usa): 'it's a blessing cause not many players get to do that. it's a once-and-a-lifetime chance for a lot of players and i'm just blessed to have that opportunity.' chris chambless: 'our main goal is to get these guys in school, but it starts with them wanting to do it, and they've certainly got great work ethic.' brent cunningham (lb-usa): 'i signed at south alabama cause it made me feel at home. the vibe and stuff. the coaches were more concerned with education than they were about football.' back in december, ole
