heading into this evening, our latest front is trekking through the area. winds are shifting and will continue out of the northwest during the overnight. this front will also mark the arrival of our latest surface front which will bring temperatures more typical of january back into the forecast for the second half of the work week.skies remain clear into the night tonight, dropping temperatures into the mid-30s. frost is probable early wednesday morning, followed by abundant sunshine throughout the day. during the afternoon winds will breeze between 5 to 10 mph with an occasional gusts to 15 mph out of the north to northwest. thus, it will feel quite cooler with temperatures struggling back into the upper 40s to lower 50s. in a number of cases, it will feel a few degrees colder than it actually is. be sure to grab the jackets and winter wear as you step out the door. we'll see clear skies into thursday morning
