as we head into thursday morning, we will be mostly cloudy with comfortable temperatures. most areas will begin the day in the upper 40s, not quite as cold as it was earlier this week. a few sprinkles are possible early in the morning. but by the midday and afternoon, rain chances increase significantly. by later this afternoon and this evening, showers will be widespread. these will likely be light to moderate, continuing into the overnight and friday morning. highs during the day still climb into the mid and upper 50s. and by friday morning, temperatures will only dip into the lower 50s. showers will be a little bit more off and on into friday as a bit more dry air moves in. however, most of the day will be cloudy with some showers still in the area by the evening. temperatures will reach into the mid-50s again. and then as we head into saturday morning, expect only isolated showers to stick around with temperatures dipping into the mid-40s. saturday appears drier, at least after midday. we'll see clouds linger into the afternoon, though. temperatures climb into the lower 50s. and we'll likely see mostly clear skies again by monday morning as temperatures slip into the upper 30s. we'll see more sunshine and drier condiitons throughout the first half of next week. highs in the afternoon monday through wednesday remain in the lower to mid-50s, which is right around average for this time of year. so we can call it seasonable with very little variation in temperature except at night. by tuesday and wednesday morning, frost is likely with mostly clear skies and temperatures into the lower 30s. today in ackerman... an event to collect donation for the choctaw county food ministry.... the annual pack the trailer.... nonperishable items and canned goods will be collected today from 2 to 6:30 at the choctaw county library... they goal is to collect 1,000 pounds and fill the trailer.... on average, the choctaw county food ministry serves over 225 will be mostly cloudy with comfortable temperatures. most areas will begin the day in the upper 40s, not quite as cold as it was earlier this week. a few sprinkles are possible early in the morning. but by the midday and afternoon,
