we have seen some areas see some minor flooding due to the rainfall. most of the temperatures today were on the cool side with most of the highs in the 40s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will see some pretty good patches of rainfall continue in the weather forecast. most of the overnight low temperatures will drop off down into the middle 30s to lower 40s. we will see most of the frozen precipitation stay just to the north and west of our area. the aforementioned low pressure area will move out of our area gradually on our sunday. we could see a little bit of a mix of precipitation at times, however for the most part it will be in the form of scattered rainfall. by sunday night and into our early monday we may see some flurries and snow showers in our area. nothing major is expected from this leftover moisture. a madison county inmate is on the run after he stole a prison
