widespread light to moderate rain with a few embedded heavier pockets has moved into northeast mississippi and northwest alabama overnight and will continue through the first several hours of the day. temperatures are chilly, but will likely not decline further than the middle to lower 40s. skies remain overcast today, but we do anticipate a lull in raincoverage sometime between late morning and early evening. another increase in rain is anticipated by the mid to late-evening and will likely continue throughout much of the day saturday. we will see much better chances for some pretty good areas of rainfall once again tonight and into your saturday. we will linger some chances for some rainfall on our sunday as the aforementioned area of low pressure moves off to the east of our area. we will even see a slight chance of some snow showers or flurries on the back side of the system on our monday morning. albeit, it will not be
