mostly to completely clear. temperatures which did manage to return to the middle and upper 40s this afternoon will decline rapidly overnight. a soft northwesterly wind and clearer conditions should allow us to fall into the lower 30s and upper 20s by tomorrow morning. we will remain clear into wednesday morning, dropping temperatures off quite a bit. most areas will begin in the upper 20s with a few dropping into the lower 30s. much like monday and tuesday, wednesday will be mostly sunny with a light northerly wind. therefore, highs only reach into the mid- 40s. no rain is expected. clouds gradually make a return into thursday. we'll start out mostly clear with temperatures in the lower 30s. but by the late afternoon, clouds will become a bit more widespread. temperatures may be a bit warmer, likely into the lower 50s. some remain in the upper 40s. still, no rain is expected on thursday. this changes into friday, however. we'll begin our friday with mostly cloudy skies and perhaps a few sprinkles. showers become more widespread into friday night. temperatures during the day will only reach the lower 50s. then into friday night and saturday morning, showers and clouds will keep temperatures a bit milder. lows on saturday morning only dip into the lower 40s. rain is likely to become more widespread saturday. it will likely be a cloudy, wet and chilly day with temperatures only reach the mid- 40s and rain occurring for extended periods of time. it will be a tough day for any kind of outdoor activity that requires dry conditions. projections continue to hint at the possibility of widespread rainfall amounts
