has gradually diminished and the remainder of your tuesday afternoon should be mostly if not completely sunny. temperatures, however, will still struggle to warm much as we maintain a light north wind. highs will only reach the mid-40s. wind chills will likely range between upper 30s to mid-40s. rain is not expected. we will remain clear into wednesday morning, dropping temperatures off quite a bit. most areas will begin in the upper 20s with a few dropping into the lower 30s. much like monday and tuesday, wednesday will be mostly sunny with a light northerly wind. therefore, highs only reach into the mid- 40s. no rain is expected. clouds gradually make a return into thursday. we'll start out mostly clear with temperatures in the lower 30s. but by the late afternoon, clouds will become a bit more widespread. temperatures may be a bit warmer, likely into the lower 50s. some remain in the upper 40s. still, no rain is expected on thursday. this changes into friday, however. we'll begin our friday with mostly cloudy skies and perhaps a few sprinkles. showers become more widespread into friday night. temperatures during the day will only reach the lower 50s. then into friday night and saturday morning, showers and clouds will keep temperatures a bit milder. lows on saturday morning only dip into the lower 40s. those showers become much more widespread into saturday. and since we stay cloudy and wet, temperatures only reach the mid-40s. this will make saturday a soggy, dreary day for most and outdoor activities will likely be compromised. as we head into sunday, there is still a lot of question in terms of temperature. but at this point, it appears we'll remain on the milder side of this system. still, temperatures should drop into the mid and upper 30s sunday morning with showers lingering through at least midday. for those just north of our coverage area, there could be a mix of sleet, rain and even snow over west tennessee. highs on sunday are expected to reach into the lower 40s. but if the colder air manages to dip farther south, we may see temperatures a bit colder with a brief change over to wintry mix later on sunday. this would only occur during a brief window of time, just before drying out sunday evening. by monday morning, we will be drier with temperatures right at or just above freezing. then on monday, we'll
