sunshine will be in abundance during the day. but with a continued northwest flow, highs only reach into the mid-40s. and with skies remaining clear into wednesday morning, we'll likely see temperatures even colder. most will be in the upper 20s. wednesday will bring more sunshine as well. and with the continued flow of air out of the north, highs will still only reach the mid-40s. no rainfall is expected through the middle of the week. but as we head into the second half of the week, things begin to shift a bit. we'll go into thursday with mostly clear skies and temperatures around 30 degrees. then by the afternoon and evening, clouds begin to make their comeback. at this point, we believe thursday will be dry. but into friday, at some point during the day, light showers begin to spread across the region. winds will have shifted out of the south a bit. so friday will begin a bit on the warmer side than days leading up to this point. most will start out friday in the upper 30s to lower 40s followed by highs in the lower 50s. then into saturday, these showers become much more widespread. we'll only drop into the lower 40s saturday morning. then into the afternoon, thanks to the clouds and widespread shower activity, highs will only reach the mid-40s. as this system passes through, a cold front will help pull in colder air into saturday night and sunday morning. we only anticipate lows dipping into the mid-30s by sunday morning with showers lingering. but just to our north, there could be a wintry mix. so we will be monitoring this in case models shift this system any farther south. at this point, i have seen little to no indication that this will be the case. but again, if it changes--we will inform you. we are always watching and always tracking. sunday should bring drier air into the afternoon. but temperatures will remain on the colder side with highs likely into the upper 30s to lower 40s.
