today. temperatures only managed to get into the upper 30s to middle 40s. as we go into our area on this thursday. this has gradually cleared all of the cloud cover and light precipitation out of our area today. temperatures only managed to get into the upper 30s to middle 40s. as we go through our next several days we will see for the most part the dominance of high pressure, however a weak cold front will move through our area later on sunday and into our monday. this frontal passage will give our area a slight chance for a few showers in the mix of things. overall, due to the dominance of high pressure we will see mostly clear skies the university of mississippi administrator who's now in charge of finance and administration will become the school's interim chancellor.... the state college board named larry sparks to lead the university until a permanent chancellor is named.... jeffrey vitter announced last week that he would step down and return to teaching effecting january
