mostly cloudy. and along with that cloud coverage, we'll likely see a few more spotty showers. temperatures should remain well below average, likely in the mid-50s. then as we head into the night, a cold front approaches. this should increase rain chances even more into early friday morning. so friday morning, we begin with scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms. these are not expected to be severe. temperatures will be in the mid-40s early in the morning. then by the afternoon, following the passing of this cold front, temperatures should struggle to warm much at all. highs will likely only reach the upper 40s with few getting into the lower 50s. winds will be breezy at times, likely between 10 and 15 mph. by friday evening, we should be clearing out with sunshine returning in time for sunset. once the sun goes down, temperatures will plummet. during friday night's high school football games, we should be much clearer and drier. but temperatures will be colder, likely in the lower 40s and upper 30s. by saturday morning, temperatures slip into the upper 20s and lower 30s. so freeze warnings have been issued for our northern counties during these overnight hours. with a continued northerly wind into saturday, temperatures remain on the colder side--despite the abundant sunshine. we'll remain dry into saturday with highs only reaching the mid and upper 40s. a few could get into the lower 50s. then by sunday morning, we're likely seeing widespread frost with a few areas below freezing again. temperatures should mostly be in the lower to mid-30s. sunday will bring a few extra clouds with it. highs will reach the mid-50s. then by the evening, a few light showers return as an area of low pressure develops in the northern gulf of mexico. this will bring widespread showers into your monday, keeping temperatures even colder. we'll start your monday with temperatures in the lower 40s. then by the afternoon, we'll only reach the upper 40s to lower 50s. another push of much colder air will arrive into monday night, driving our rain chances out of the region. since the precipitation will be gone by tuesday morning, we should just be
