water sites in the city as a boil water notice continues to plague the city. he says the results of the test should be back by thursday. lets go live to wayne hereford who has been watching the situation in aberdeen and brings us this live report. the city of aberdeen is doing what it can to find out what caused a state department of health test to show e.coli in its water system. they will know more by thursday they say but in the meantime, residents have to get by as best they can. its been a tough few days more many residents in aberdeen. at one local store, the shelves were emptied out quickly the manager said after news of the boil water notice hit the airwaves. the store's restaurant was continuing to sale its home- cooked meals athough its customary tea and lemonade from the deli. they did make sure that their dish water was hot enough to insure safety and the manager promised that by mid afternoon there would be another shipment of water. but make no mistake about it, residents here are getting by the best they can. "i've been buying lots and lots of bottled water . besides nthqat, you can't really cook anything." "its been an inconvenience to have to boil our water. i'm worried about my icemakers, i'm worried about whether we can get the water in our mouths, i'm worried about how we can use our water." meanwhile, at the monroe regional hospital officials they are doing o.k. right now with an emergency supply of water that is always available. they say that if necessary, they will buy more.
