with rain chances building into sections of our area from the northwest by the late-morning through the afternoon hours. over the next few days we will continue to see some scattered to patchy areas of rainfall and isolated thunderstorms as our weather story. this will continue to be caused by the leftovers of sergio and a no named frontal system. while most of the heavy and stronger thunderstorms will stay to our west, we cannot rule out an isolated one moving our way. we will see high pressure move into our area during the middle portion of the upcoming work week. this will give our area a brief respite of mostly dry weather, until another frontal system gives us a chance for some isolated to scattered showers by the end of the week and into our next weekend. most of our temperatures down the line will cool off back down into the 60s for the highs. while, most of the overnight low temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. ((adlib)) thanks for watching this morning. for alan matthew and everyone here at wtva 9 news, i'm have a great day!
