now onto an update from breaking news last night. . law enforcement is working to bring adrian golden back to north mississippi from arkansas more than a year after akidnapping in pontotoc countythat ended withhis estranged wife being shotin calhoun county. w-t-v-a's wayne hereford is live in pontotoc county outside the sheriff's department with the latest. thank you. adrian golden was captured in texarkana arkansas and was scheduled to appear before a judge there this afternoon in an extradition hearing. ." golden has been on the run since june of 2017 for shooting his wife kimberly sisk. calhoun county sheriff greg pollan says golden shot his wife after learning she filed for divorce six months earlier. the sheriff says golden beat his wife up and pontotoc drove her to bruce mississippi where he tried to run over her and even shot her in the head. golden golden is a fighting extradition back to mississippi refusing to cooperate with authorities and now it will take a signed document known as a warrant from the governor to get him back in the magnolia state.
