news a string of auto burglaries in union county may possibly be connected to others in pontotoc county. now, authorities want to warn the public to be mindful of keeping their cars secure. wtva's rebecca butcher spoke with nieghbors and joins us now. there are four suspects authorities are still looking for. investigators want to stress keeping you door locked at all times. no place is safe "my husband was at work and he realized he didn't have his billfold. so, he called me to look in his office to see if he had left it on his desk." shari webb and her husband discovered his billfold was stolen...right out of their car. their vehicle just one of several in new albany targeted...among others in union county. these are the suspectsfour of theminvestigat ors are looking for...one of them in a red cap. they also might be the same people that ecru authorities are looking for...seen at a wal-mart in these pictures...using stolen credit cards authorities say to but cash cards. "my neighbor called and said that another neighbor's son, that somebody had broken into his car and gotten his billfold out. i said oh my goodness that happened to my husband." bridge: authorities say all four vehicles here in this new albany neighborhood were locked. things taken like wallets and other personal items. sheriff jimmy edwards, union county sheriff's department "don't leave any valuables in the car. take them with you or if you go into a store or something put them in the trunk." a family that lives at this home told me off camera that they had a wallet taken out of car that was in their driveway...neighb or tell me they'll be more cautious about locking their doors.
