evening hours. temperatures which have struggled today to climb into the 80s for northern parts of our area will begin to very slowly drop as the evening gets underway. the scattered shower and storm activity will begin to decrease in coverage and intensity over the next several hours. by mid-evening an isolated shower or storms will remain possible, but the overnight period will be quieter and less active than the daytime hours. temperatures overnight will fall into the middle and lower 70s. by the morning, some isolated patches of fog could be present but the bigger impact will be the presence of slick roads and scattered showers as people head out the door for school, work and etc. the stalled front that has been around the past several days will still be nearly located in the same place tomorrow. thus, widely-scattered to isolated showers will be possible once again for some of the same areas that have experienced them in recent days. but as we go through the midday and afternoon, again, showers and storms become more widespread. these will be found slightly further
