happy thursday!! sunshine throughout the day will allow temperatures to return to the mid-90s this afternoon. added humidity will make it feel more like upper 90s to lower 100s. the heat lingers into friday as well. but with added humidity, a few more spotty showers and storms will be likely. and this could help bring temperatures down a little bit. temperatures will still begin in the lower 70s. but by the afternoon, we're likely looking at lower 90s rather than mid-90s. it's not a huge drop in temperature, but it's a step in the right direction. for the first day of fall, we are increasing our rain chances. with this will come additional cloud coverage. and therefore, a slight drop in temperature. temperatures will still be in the lower 70s in the morning. but in the afternoon, highs should only reach into the upper 80s with a few spots possibly climbing into the lower 90s if enough sun shines through. between friday and saturday, rainfall totals could be up
