man is behind bars tonight after he was arrested in calhoun county after admitting to burglarizing at least six locations in the county. wayne hereford spent time in calhoun county today and brings this report. ." standup.."here at the calhoun county sheriff's department,inves tigators have arrested a man here .and they have solved several crimes with one arrest." that man, is jackie yates of d3erma. calhoun county sheriff greg pollan says that yates, seen here in a surveillance video obtained by wtva, broke into the sonic on highway eight . we spoke with the restaurant manager about the break-in. "i was woke up at three o-clock saturday morning .someone had used this brick to break or bust the window. first they tried to steal the pressure washer from the back of the building, when he couldn't get it he grabbed the brick come around here and smashed the window." the sheriff says the sonic burglary hot jackie yates arrested. but yates admitted, this was not his first burglary in the county. "we were able to clear up two church burglaries and then of course , he broke into the sonic .a body shop and the derma post office." pollan says th3ere was one more business burglary that yates admitted to as well in the county. sheriff pollan says that yates will have his bond set tommorow. you may recall us reporting on the recent church burglaries in derma. the sheriff says the derma police, calhoun city police, and his sheriff department all worked to bring yates to jail. he says there could be more charges on the way. in
