an approaching cold front will be the weather rule for our area over the next few days. we did see some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms today in our area ahead of the front. otherwise, we did see variably cloudy to mostly cloudy skies as the rule over most of the area on our sunday. most of the high temperatures managed to reach well into the 80s this afternoon with the heat index at times well into the 90s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will continue a chance for some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms in our weather forecast. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off down into the lower to middle 70s. as we go through our monday and tuesday, we will see some more chances for some scattered to patchy showers and thunderstorms in our weather forecast. a few of the thunderstorms may be a bit on the heavy and hefty side, especially during our monday afternoon and evening. the main culprits with these thunderstorms will be in the form of some strong and gusty winds, along with some large hail at times. an isolated tornado will not be out of the question with some of the stronger thunderstorms. all of this activity will gradually clear out of our area on our tuesday and we will see drier and more stable air move back into our area. we will see most of the high temperatures over the next several days stay in the 80s and warming back into the 90s by later portions of our upcoming work week. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off from the muggy 70s and into some less muggy 60s by middle portions of the upcoming work week. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off from the muggy 70s and into some less muggy 60s by middle portions of the upcoming work week. portions of our upcoming work week. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off from the muggy 70s and into some less muggy 60s by middle portions of the upcoming work week. the man who wasshot at an
