last year in starkville was so successful that this year's camp is a two day affair... roughly 700 kids signed up for the two day camp at mississippi state... the camp was open to boys and girls between first and eighth grade... starkville is one of three locations that dak holds his pro camps... the other two camps were held in his hometown of haughton, louisiana and dallas... the kids receive instruction from coaches while dak makes the rounds, takes pictures, and gives out as many high fives as possible... there was even a fun moment when dak threw a pass to a camper who was defended by former msu wide receiver fred ross... dak says hosting a camp in starkville is a no brainer... dak prescott: 'i mean it's humbling, just to say the least, just to be here knowing everything that i went through here this is really where i grew up and took that next step in my life and became a man here. just to be able to come back and give to these kids and see myself in them. the kids that are five years old, the kids that are 12 years old. it's crazy, it's just a humbling experience. i'm glad i'm able to do it.' you heard dak say mississippi state is where he grew up and became a man. of course, the head coach coach that recruitedand groomed him is gone. but dak says his alma mater will always be bigger than one coach. dak prescott: 'yea coaching staff, old coaching staff, whatever coaching staff, this place is all about the people and that's how it'll always be so you come out here the fans aren't gonna change. the fans are gonna be the same cause they love this university, they love the people that support this school and that's what itis so we've got a great coaching staff that came here. coach moorhead and his staff did a great job i know reaching out to me and from the conversations we've had i'm excited for this season and what these guys are doing.' a lot going on in starkville
