officials have now released the names of the three people involved and vandalizing the sardis church. wayne hereford has spoken with a member of the church as well as the sheriff and brings us this report. this is the sardis church here in winston county. it doesn't look as bad as it did after it had been vandalized by 3 people that have been arrested here. now the names have been released. winston county sheriff jason pugh confirms to know the names to be dylan tabor 19 years old jason eve's who is 21 austin richardson who is 20. "we have recovered some items that were stolen from the church. the historical plaque the church was an historical landmark. the historical plaque from the front of the church has been recovered. one church pew has been recovered that was stolen lntact. and another church pew that has been stolen has been recovered. it was in pieces where it had fallen out of the back of a truck." standup "the people out here in the community of ellington ridge are very upset. we could not find one to go on camera but i did talk with one church member she simply said she is angry and upset that people would do such a thing at a church."
