to flee from a safety checkpoint in monroe county over the weekend. wtva's evan hensley joins us now live with the very latest craig emily police say kevin mcmillianwas in possession of a gun that he tried to toss in the woods just off 1-45 but it fired off a shot. kevin mcmillian of aberdeen is now behind bars after turning himself in on monday this after police say he escaped a safety checkpoint saturday. aberdeen police say that mcmillian's vehicle smelled of merijuana and they began to search the vehicle. and that's when things took an interestingtwist.
