pros of tomorrow features many of the state's top junior golfers. it also counts as a stop on the area's coca-cola junior golf tour. and several area players were in contention entering today's final round. to the tupelo country club we go. nettleton's riley mayhew has had a big summer on the coke tour, winning multiple events in the boys division. the 15 year old shot a two day total of 4-over par 148 to win both the girls 16-18 division and overall championship... the winner of the boys 16-18 division was booneville's tate dickerson. dickerson rolled in a birdie putt on the first playoff hole to defeat oxford's wilson baker... but dickerson was not the overall winner... 15 year old cohen trolio finished 4 under par towin the 14-15 and overall championship. trolio, a rising sophomore at oak hill academy, has already committed to lsu... cohen trolio: 'it was just a combination of putts falling and staying in my process and doing my own thing, you know what i'm saying?' riley mayhew: 'made a few mistakes, but i made up for it. my irons were, i missed a few greens, but my chipping was solid, and i chipped up and putted in almost every time.' tate dickerson: 'well i played pretty solid today. i shot 69, i just went into the last playoff hole with confidence and played it like it was a normal hole and just rolled the birdie in and won it.' after two seasons
