temperatures did warm up into the 90s in most areas, along with the heat index in the 100 degree plus category in many areas. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will seesome isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms in our weather forecast. a few of the thunderstorms may produce some strong and gusty winds. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off down into the lower to middle 70s. as we go through our upcoming workweek, we will linger some isolated to widely scatteredshowers and thunderstorms. most of the activity will be due to the heating of the day. a few of the thunderstorms at times may produce some very heavy rainfall, along with some cloud to ground lightning. some pretty good heating of the day is expected over the next several days with most of the high temperatures well into the 90s. we will see most of the heat index values on each day get well into the over 100 degree category in many areas. most of the overnight lows will be in the muggy middle 70s. thanks john. parts of oklahoma have been declared a disaster area
