otherwise from the severe weather. we did see some areas severe this morning with mainly gusty winds and some heavy rain and some hail at times too. as we went into the afternoon and evening hours we did see some redevelopment of some of the stronger to severe storms, mainly in alabama. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will linger some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms in our weather forecast. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off down into the lower to middle 70s. as we go through our sunday and into our upcoming workweek, we will linger some isolated showers and thunderstorms. most of the activity will be due to the heating of the day. some pretty good heating of the day is expected over the next several days with most of the high temperatures well into the 90s. we will see most of the heat index values on each day get well into the over 100 degree category in many areas. most of the overnight lows will be in the muggy middle 70s. three people were injured after a possible tornado passed over northern alabama. three people were injured after a possible tornado passed
