shooting in louisiana leaves 2 men dead, one of which is from northeastern mississippi. good afternoon i'm craig ford and i'm emily leonard. wtva's evan hensley has more on what police are saying the lee county sheriff department helped out with the investigation the livingston parish sheriffs office has informed us that ted bourn of tupelo and a local lousiana contractor, beaux bailey, exchanged gunfire, ultimately killing eachother early sunday morning. the initial report by the department is that bailey was the victim of the crime and bourn was a suspect. the initial police call came in as a home invasion. the lousiana department is now saying that evidence that has been obtained make it appear as if this is not just a random home invasion. they believe that bourn intentionally targeted bailey. sot jim johnson "i was made aware of what they were doing and it did connect an individual by the name of ted bourne to our county." the livingston parish sherifs department has been investigating and has also had assitance by the lee county sheriffs department. sot jim johnson "they sent a team of investigators here to work to work with myself and one of our investigators to find out what they could about mr. bourn." they came to lee county yesterday and obtained additional evidence at bourns home. the investigation is still ongoing and more information is still to come. reporting live in lee county, evan hensley wtva 9 news at , matt's
