this afternoon. all of this activity was due once again to just alittle bit of low pressure and the heating of the day. we did once again see some pretty warm and hot temperatures across our area with most of the highs well into the 80s to lower 90s. as we go through the rest of the evening and into the overnight hours we will continue to linger some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms in our area. otherwise, we will see generally variably cloudy skies as the rule and most of the overnight low temperatures will be in the unseasonably warm upper 60s to lower 70s. as we go through the weekend we will continue to see a little bit of low pressure and the heating of the day as the main weather producer. this will give us some pretty good chances for some at least scattered showers and thunderstorms in our weather forecast for most of the weekend. temperatures will remain in the mostly, slightly too warm for this time of the year category for both our saturday and for our sunday. by later portions of our sunday night and into our monday we will see a gradual increase in moisture in our area due to tropical storm alberto moving into our area. we will see this system slowly move northward as it is expected to hit coastal portions of the gulf of mexico on our monday morning, memorial day. we will see this system move its way inland and move through our area slowly through the middle of the upcoming workweek. this will give us the best chances for some showers and thunderstorms for our coming
