Fulton mother, family of nine loses home after storm

Linda Pitts lived at a home with her nine children and is now trying to find a place to start over. She was home when the storm came through.

with a family of nine inside at the time. that's the story in fulton...and now the mother is seeking help from the community. wtva's rebecca butcher joins us live now. it's an astonishing sight...and a nightmare for linda pitts and her family. she and her nine children were inside of this home when the tree in their front yard crashed on top of their roof. she described to thse scary moments... "it was very scary it was like a tornado. my brother saw the doors breathing and my mom and him saw all the children into the middle room. by the time i got in the middle room, the tree just fell on the house." linda pitts says the house shook and the walls began creaking "most of my stuff is in the house. my children and i are safe, so that's a blessing but i need a place to live as soon as possible." one neighbor down the street who she goes to church with...offered to help her move. robert ferdon "i offered to get her stuff moved. i told her i would move it free of charge that's what a christian should do". the mother has nine kids..the oldest 17 and the youngest just two years old. one of them dealing with things through faith.
