we saw sunny skies as the rule today across our area. we did see unseasonably cool temperatures for highs today. most of our area topped off in the 50s with a few areas in the lower 60s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will see nice clear skies as the rule due to the high pressure. we will see most of our overnight low temperatures drop off down into the middle 30s to lower 40s. so not as cold as last night's overnight low temperatures. we will see high pressure continue to control our weather forecast for our tuesday. that means we will see more sunshine, however with the southerly winds we will see a pretty good warm up. we will see most areas top off in the seasonable middle 70s. a weak frontal system will work its way through our area on our wednesday. that will give our area an increase in cloud cover and we will see a few isolated showers. we will see another (little stronger) frontal system in our area for the weekend and into early portions of next week. this will give us some more chances for some showers and even a few isolated thunderstorms during that time period.
