low pressure has been gradually moving back into our area. we have seen the clouds on the increase and some showers have developed across portions of our area. we did see enough sunshine earlier today to warm most of the area up pretty nicely with most high temperatures in the upper 50s to middle 60s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will see rain and some isolated thunderstorms become likely. some of the rainfall may be on the heavy side at times. all of this will be due to moisture building up in our area along with low pressure and a frontal system working their way into our area. most of the overnight lows will drop off down into the middle 50s. we will see the aforementioned frontal system move through our area gradually on our saturday and into our sunday. this will keep the rainfall in our weather forecast through our weekend for the most part. we will see some heavy rainfall in the mix at times along with some isolated to scattered thunderstorms at times. we will see a few of the thunderstorms at times get a little on the hefty side at times, however most of the severe weather will stay well to the south of our area. as we go into our upcoming work week, we will continue to see a few more areas of rain and thunderstorms in our weather forecast. this will be due to some brief visits of some fronts and some areas of low pressure. we will see most of our daytime highs and overnight lows well above the normal for this time of the year. welcone back thanks for staying with wtva nine news at five today. low pressure has been gradually moving back into our area. we have seen the clouds on the increase and some showers have developed across portions of our area. we did see enough sunshine earlier today to warm most of the area up pretty nicely with most high temperatures
